Yes. Choose shop pickup at checkout. Pickup is free, and we will let you know when your order is ready.

Yes. Our Fo Tan shop carries a much wider range than we list online, including fasteners, plumbing fittings, electrical supplies, lighting and material handling equipment. If you cannot find an item, send us the model number or a photo and we will check for you.

Delivery by Hongkong Post or SF Express is a flat rate based on weight: HK$30 for up to 1kg, HK$40 for 1–2kg and HK$50 for 2–3kg. Lalamove or GoGoVan delivery can be arranged on request and is charged by location. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Orders are usually shipped within 1 to 7 working days after payment. If your order is urgent, contact us before ordering and we can often arrange same-day delivery.

Yes. International orders are sent by air and usually arrive within 5 to 7 days of confirmation. Shipping to Macau, Taiwan and mainland China starts from HK$100, and to other countries from HK$250.

For Hong Kong orders: Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards, PayPal, PayMe, FPS, AlipayHK, Alipay and WeChat Pay. For international orders: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.

Yes. We accept the HKSAR Government Purchase Card and Corporate Purchasing Cards. We are a listed supplier of the HKSAR Government Logistics Department and on the HKSAR e-Procurement System.

Yes. Send us the item list, quantities and delivery address by WhatsApp or email, and we will reply with a formal quotation. We regularly supply contractors, factories, engineering firms and government departments.

Very often, yes. Tell us the brand and model number, or send a photo of the old part, and we will check availability and lead time.

Yes. All products are genuine and sourced from authorized dealers in Hong Kong. We are an authorized Makita Hong Kong dealer, and all Makita tools we sell are Hong Kong stock.

Warranty depends on the product; details are on each product page. Makita warranty service is provided by Makita Hong Kong, and we can help you arrange it.

A bare tool (淨機) is supplied without a battery or charger. It is the lower-cost option if you already own batteries from the same platform, such as Makita 18V LXT. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.

Once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. Please read our Refund Policy before purchase.

Email thegeneralisthk@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the damage, your name, order number and contact number. Please keep the original packaging for inspection.
